Special Education Director
I attended school my elementary, junior high, and high school years in New Plymouth Idaho until my senior year, where I transferred to Vallivue High School in Nampa Idaho, graduating in 1993.
I went back to school to get my bachelor's degree in social and criminal justice and psychology from Ashford University, graduating in 2014.
I once again went back to school at ECU pursuing my master’s degree in Special Education graduating with an M. SpEd. in May 2016.
Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Social and Criminal Justice.
Master’s degree in Special Education.
My first year of teaching was the 2014 - 2015 school year. At the start of the 2016-2017 year I am starting my third year teaching. Each year I feel as if I learn more about how to help my students achieve the success they hope for and how to be the most effective teacher that I can be.
I was born and raised in Idaho but moved to Oklahoma to be with family who had also moved down here. All three of my children have graduated from Calvin. In my time with this school, I have been a parent of students and now I am a teacher to many of your students. I hope to teach your children with all the knowledge that I have gained and the same caring that I would want for my own children.
When I am not working I enjoy reading and I’m an avid movie watcher. I love movies (of all kinds). I enjoy little vacations of any kind with my family and spending time with them in general.
