My first year of teaching was the 2014 - 2015 school year. At the start of the 2016-2017 year I am starting my third year teaching. Each year I feel as if I learn more about how to help my students achieve the success they hope for and how to be the most effective teacher that I can be.
I was born and raised in Idaho, but moved to Oklahoma to be with family who had also moved down here. I met the love of my life who is a Calvin school graduate and decided to stay here with him and make Calvin my home. Two of my three children have graduated from Calvin while one is still a student here. In my time with this school, I have been a parent of students and now I am a teacher of your students. I hope to teach your children with all the knowledge that I have gained and the caring that I would want for my own children.
When I am not working I enjoy reading and I’m an avid movie watcher. I love movies (of all kind). I enjoy little vacations of any kind with my family and spending time with them in general.
