I graduated from Harrah High School in 1999. I went to UCO in Edmond and graduated in 2003 with a degree in Accounting. I then went to LSU-Shreveport and was alternatively certified to teach from 2006-2008.
I have a BS in Accounting and was alternatively certified to teach.
I have certification in elementary education, business education, and intermediate math.
I started teaching in Calvin in 2013. I am the new 4th grade teacher this year. I am really enjoying my time on the elementary side!
I started teaching in 2006 in Bossier City, Louisiana. I have taught 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grades in Louisiana. My first 2 years in Calvin, I was the remediation teacher and taught 7th and 8th math and a business communications class. For the past 2 years, I was the middle school and high school math teacher and coached softball.
I am married to Chris. We were married in 2004. We have 3 beautiful children, Audrey, Nathan, and Alivia. We have 2 dogs, Charlie and Izzy, and a cat, Snuggles. Our kids and church keep us very busy. My oldest daughter is a gymnast. We spend many days and hours in the gym with her. My son is an athlete. He plays soccer, baseball, and basketball. He is on traveling teams so we are away most weekends watching him play. My youngest daughter just loves animals. She loves to just hangout while her brother and sister compete. She is thinking about playing basketball and possibly doing some beginner gymnastics.
When I am not teaching, I like to spend time with my family. We like to have "adventures". I like to read and shop. I also love watching tv and movies. My favorite TV show is The Office and This Is Us and my favorite movie is A League of Their Own.
