Family time is the best.
For those of you who haven’t noticed, I retired at the end of the 2015-16 school year. While I still work as elementary principal, I am employed part-time or about 20 hours a week. During that time I make it a priority to see students, our school family. Calvin has the best students and that is why I still enjoy my job. Make time in your busy day to be with your family and volunteer to help us with our school family. With spring just ahead, we will need assistance with test monitoring. Call the school if you can help with some days.
Breakfast is served daily in the cafeteria from 7:25 to 7:50; if your child arrives late he or she misses an important meal. Do everything you can to insure good school attendance. The habit of attending school should be established. Don't miss a minute of learning. Bring your smile, supplies and super attitude each and every day.
